Canton First Monday

I'm off to Canton First Monday on Saturday. This is a first...I've never attempted July before. It will be a hot one for sure! I'm dragging along my mom and my new niece Kim (my nephews wife), she's never been. I hope to have some goodies to show you when I get back.

Sprinkles

Friday my friend Emily and I made a trip to Houston to attend a Creative Keepsake Convention. On our way out we stopped at Sprinkles for a few cupcakes. Here's what I got....Cherry, Key Lime, Dark Chocolate, Cinnamon Sugar, Lemon Coconut and Red Velvet. I can definitely say that I loved the Dark Chocolate and Lemon Coconut.

Such a cute little shop and can you say friendly staff?! Way to go on the customer service!

Knight and Day

Ok! Not a big fan of Tom Cruise, but Knight and Day looked interesting...plus I like Cameron Diaz. So, my husband and I went to see it a week ago. It was good....surprisingly good. Funny, action, a little romance....good movie.

Go see it....you won't be disappointed.

Grandpa's Secretary

I was fortunate to be given Grandpa's secretary after he passed. However, the color wasn't really my taste....so I painted it.

It now houses several serving pieces.

I think Grandpa would like it.
