Welcome back to Wardrobe Wednesday. I didn't mean to take so long posting again.

So here we are.....turtlenecks, my favorite staple for a winter wardrobe.

I usually have several in many colors.

Chadwicks has some great ones right now at a great price, but I just checked and the colors are limited. The purple is a favorite and I'm trying to decide if I want to get it. I have this particular turtleneck in Chocolate, Cream, Chili Powder and soon to be arriving RED!

I also have a black one and a green one but in a slightly different style.

Told you I like turtlenecks.

Chocolate Chunk Toffee Cookies

Whipped up these Chocolate Chunk Toffee cookies to take to the local Christmas Parade tomorrow.

First time to make these.....they turned out good. I had to tell my husband to save some for tomorrow.

Okay....so I've been thinking. It would be neat to have a specific thing to post on a specific day of the week. I know I usually talk about decorating or cooking, but I love fashion too. So I'm going to try something. I'm not sure if it will take or if I'll do it every week (maybe every other), but here goes.

Introducing Wardrobe Wednesday!

Basically it will be a post wardrobe related. For example, I might find a great blog or a new company I want to share with you all that talks about fashion. Maybe a great new pair of shoes or a cute item I found for a steal. Got the idea?

Lets get started.

I discovered this company today and also discovered they have an awesome blog, Down East Basics. Here's the web site and the blog. Both look great. I'm going to do some more digging tomorrow, but couldn't wait to share and to be honest I needed to if I wanted to stick to the Wednesday theme. I'm sure I'll post more as I discover more about them....so be sure to check back on Wednesdays for updates.

Body Form

I've been looking for a body form for a while. I'm actually still looking. I want one that's big and one that has fabric on it. I found this one on Saturday and just couldn't pass it up. It should be fun to decorate it.

Lavender Fest

Saturday my mom, my niece Kim, my big girl and I went to the Lavendar Fest in Chappell Hill.

It was fun!

We got to cut our own lavender. I bought some plants too...

Canton First Monday

I'm off to Canton First Monday on Saturday. This is a first...I've never attempted July before. It will be a hot one for sure! I'm dragging along my mom and my new niece Kim (my nephews wife), she's never been. I hope to have some goodies to show you when I get back.

Sprinkles

Friday my friend Emily and I made a trip to Houston to attend a Creative Keepsake Convention. On our way out we stopped at Sprinkles for a few cupcakes. Here's what I got....Cherry, Key Lime, Dark Chocolate, Cinnamon Sugar, Lemon Coconut and Red Velvet. I can definitely say that I loved the Dark Chocolate and Lemon Coconut.

Such a cute little shop and can you say friendly staff?! Way to go on the customer service!

Knight and Day

Ok! Not a big fan of Tom Cruise, but Knight and Day looked interesting...plus I like Cameron Diaz. So, my husband and I went to see it a week ago. It was good....surprisingly good. Funny, action, a little romance....good movie.

Go see it....you won't be disappointed.

And the previews were good too!
