LaurieAnna's 5th Anniversary

Window

I got this window in Canton the same time I bought the door (see this post). The door buckets are from my days as a Southern Living at Home consultant.

Shortly after we hung the window, my goofy husband would stand at it and say, "what a great view." Thank goodness it got old and he quit doing it.

Powder Room

Here's a little wall hook thing I picked up in Canton about a year and a half ago. The Bath sign came from LaurieAnna's. I changed out the ribbon with some discontinued twill tape from Martha Stewart Crafts.

Wire Gym Basket

I've been wanting to get one or many of these for a while. You can buy them new, but why? Got this one on my last trip to Canton. BTW...can you believe I'm planning another trip in May. I think I may have a Canton addiction.

I wonder what Gym this one came from.

Fans

I love old fans. I have two. I thought I took a picture of my first one and posted it over at JJGreeleyPaperdesigns, but I can't find it. I guess I'll have to take a picture of it and show it to you. Its very cool (no pun intended) and they both work. So that's why....

.....they are placed on a very high shelf. Nothing like the good old days of razor sharp blades and fan covers large enough to get your entire hand in. Seriously.....did they think this was a good idea. I can't imagine the carnage.

Corks

I had this idea to put corks in one of my apothecary jars. Low and behold I was looking through one of my design books and I found the very same idea.....How 'bout that?!

My favorite find

A few years back my husband and I went to Canton looking for a door. You never know if you will find what you are looking for, but we lucked out on that trip. I found this awesome door for a really great price. In fact the molding cost more than the door.

Here it is as my headboard.

My Pig

Nothing like a pig on the counter. I got this pig on my last trip to Canton. Stopped off at Paul Michaels on the way out. Just couldn't pass him up.

These are good...

After our trip to Canton on Friday we stopped at Woody's in Centerville for some fuel and snacks. These are very good. I bought some pickled okra too!
